I Tenure-track Assistant Professor
Tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Behavioral Neuroscience, beginning in August 2017. This is a new position that will add to the department’s 13 tenured faculty members who oversee a Ph.D. program. New tenure-track faculty receive competitive salaries and start-up packages, as well as lab space.
Candidates will be expected to supervise the research of graduate students, teach classes at graduate and undergraduate levels (3 courses/year), and show promise for obtaining extramural funding for research. Primary consideration will be given to candidates who have completed PhD in Psychology and a strong record of research and teaching experience.

II Full-time Instructor/Advisor
Full-time Instructor/Advisor, beginning in August 2017. Instructor is the first step in a promotional ladder that runs parallel to the tenure track and can lead to more advanced ranks, such as Instructor II and Senior Instructor.
Primary consideration will be given to candidates who have completed Ph.D. in Psychology at the time of employment and have a strong record of effective teaching in Experimental Psychology (cognition, development, learning, neuroscience, and/or social), and advising. The successful candidate will be expected to teach three undergraduate courses in psychology per semester and serve as an advisor for psychology students.
Administrative duties include one-on-one and small group advising, tracking student academic progress, advising prospective students, and participating in TCU’s efforts to recruit new students. III Full-time Instructor

Primary consideration will be given to candidates who have completed Ph.D. in Psychology at the time of employment and a strong record of effective teaching in Experimental Psychology, with emphasis in developmental and abnormal psychology.
The successful candidate will be required to teach four undergraduate courses in psychology per semester, advise child development majors, and work in contact with the Institute of Child Development (http://child.tcu.edu). Potential courses include general psychology (with and without a lab section), child psychology, abnormal psychology, and courses related to the child development major.
